While performing as a professional ballet dancer with the Jeune Ballet de France in 1997, Tanya discovered Pilates.
When her dancing career ended due to a knee injury, it left a great void in her life. In 2013, she learned about Gyrokinesis and was instantly attracted to its dancelike movements. In its practice, she again finds the fulfilment that dancing always gave her.
Her interest in dance and gymnastics sparked a passion to research and study ever-improved training methods, which allows her to express her love for movement and holistic health.
She continues to study and refine her understanding of different exercise methods to ensure that her teaching remains state-of-the-art.
Annaline has always led an active life with an extensive background in ballet and rhythmic gymnastics from a very young age.
Working in an office in London, she felt displaced and soon realised her true calling was to become a BASI Pilates instructor.
She shares the same passion for movement, anatomy and holistic therapies as her lifelong friend, Tanya. It was therefore a natural progression in their friendship for Annaline to join Core Sense Studio as pilates instructor in February 2015.
As a firm believer in the benefits of an efficient, capable muscular system, she strives to impart this knowledge to all her clients to help them improve the quality of their everyday lives.
